This term sees the commencement of the Game of Our Own girls programme and training. The girls are going to support the school by assisting the FA's vision that by 2024 every girl will have equal access to football opportunities in school. The Game of Our Own programme will be supported to establish and deliver extra-curricular girls football clubs or activity led by their girls’ football activators. The girls’ football activators can follow one of two leadership pathways; marketing or delivery.

The course promotes being able to identify and develop life skills and support girls to be empowered to lead football-related activity. Holly, Esme and Alyssa too part in a full days course, designed to support them with the promotion of girls football alongside Miss Rath. We look forward to supporting the Youth Sport Trust and the FA with their vision as we believe this is a really important step forward for girls sport within school.
