Extended Curriculum

We believe in providing as many opportunities as possible for students to both enjoy additional aspects to their education, and to benefit from these experiences that may not be possible outside of school. Whether it is classes for cookery, planning community work, trips to explore glaciers, to speak Spanish or to explore the horrors of the Holocaust in our bi-yearly trip to Poland, we are voracious in our desire to give opportunities to grow. Academic achievement matters – it is a primary focus for us – but we also know that we have to balance this against the development of the whole child. We want to make sure they are well prepared for life, and have a deeply enriching experience whilst they are in our care. Every student here is known, valued, understood, supported and challenged.
