Child Protection......
‘Is part of safeguarding and promoting welfare. It refers to the activity that is undertaken to protect specific children who are suffering, or are likely to suffer significant harm.’
Safeguarding at STFS:
At Sir Thomas Fremantle School, there is a team of Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL), overseen by Mrs Fiona Ell, the Deputy DSL is Mr Mat Payne.

Whilst the information you have may not require a Child Protection referral to the MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub), it will help your DSLs to make an informed decision about the risk of harm to the child(ren) and how to move forward in order to best protect them.

Concerns about a staff member
If your concern is about a staff member or volunteer, you should report this to the Headmaster immediately. The Headmaster will inform the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO).
