Admissions Consultation – September 2028
Consultation period: Monday 12th October – Friday 27th November 2026
Sir Thomas Fremantle School is consulting on proposed changes to its admission arrangements for September 2028.
Following a recommendation from Buckinghamshire Council, the school is considering the introduction of a defined catchment area as part of its oversubscription criteria. The Council has identified the proposed catchment boundary, taking into account local housing developments and future demand for school places.
The proposed change would give greater priority to children living within the catchment area when the school is oversubscribed. Families living outside the catchment area would still be able to apply for a place, and the school's Published Admission Number of 150 would remain unchanged.
Any changes would apply from September 2028 only. Admissions for September 2027 and students already attending the school would not be affected.
