Success at NSEA Grassroots Regional Show Jumping Final

Leah C, Georgina G, Lily T and Lily G represented Sir Thomas Fremantle at the Grassroots Show Jumping Event at Bury Farm, Leighton Buzzard on 4th December.

They all rode brilliantly and looked super in their new Team saddle cloths.  A credit to the school – team spirit was high and the girls supported each other well in their rounds.

Georgina, Lily and Lily jumped as a team in the 70cm Championship class against TWENTY TWO other schools from the region and came a very respectable 4th Place as a team, with Georgina scooping up 3rd place individually with her super speedy round!

Lily T and Leah then jumped as an individual in the 75cm, Leah had an unlucky pole down, and Lily took 6th place individually.

Georgina, Lily G and Leah C went on to jump the 80cm class which was a long and built up course of challenging obstacles.  Lily G and Leah jumped very smart rounds just outside placings and Georgina took 4th place individually.  It was Leah's first time out with the team and she rode brilliantly on her young horse – his first time jumping in an indoor facility.

We’ve all had a super time out representing the school, and looking forward to our next event which is being held on 15th January.

Please contact Rebecca Willison if you are interesting in your child joining the team.
